Our country-Vietnam is developing more and more. Vietnam is trying its best to enter into WTO. Vietnam was also a member of many important association such as: ASEAN, AFTA... With its open-door progress, I have many benefits. You see, I am studying English... So when Vietnam welcome friends all around the world, I have opportunities to practise my English as well as to have a specialised job in the future. What's more, I can access to many scientific and technological achievements which help me a lot in daily life... For example, that's Internet. AS a matter of fact,China has made a great progress since the Open and Reforming policy had been carried out about two decades ago.Definitely it is positive .I can experience a lot.Ten yers ago,I was in primary school.There was no electricity in my school.When ningt falls,we had to lit candals to study.But now everything has been changed!Not only can they use electricity,but also we can use computers to assistant their teaching and study in my primary schoo.And in my dorm,I want to buy a notebook to surf on line and see updated movies.All of that I can not inmagine bofore!

It's an old city with many valuable heritages.If you have chance, well come to our city.because our city is old, so it not as develop as other big cities of our nation.In comparision to the pass, however, Hue today has developed a lot.I have the same opinion with you that our life is more comfortable and modernable than the pass, but everything has its own negative side. together with the development, many bad things appear. As time goes on,great changes have happened here and there in China .Not long ago,the second manned spaceship of China blasted off successfully,which shows the rapid progess in science and technology made my Chinese to people all over the world.I still remember,in my childhood,there was only a small black TV at home.However,at the present day,we have not only big colour TV set,but also all kinds of electric equipment such as DVD ,air condition,washing machine,computer etc and many students have their own mp3,walkman,electronic dictionary ,all of which do much good to their life and study .All these prove that the living condition of Chinese has improved greatly.At the same time ,with the invention of mobile phones , private cars and so on,it is more convenient for people to travel ,to communicate .Also,with so much mass media,people are informed of what is happening in the world daily.Therefore,the world is becoming a global village gradually.Although there are also many ill effects brought by the great changes, personally I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.October 27 2005, 12:27:25 UTC 6 years ago

I really feel some change in my daily life.I admit that everything is changing as time flies.As our country developing these years,the level of life has enhanced greatly.In my memory,when I was a child,the entertainment for me is playing with other children outside.Gradually,after TV appeared,I stayed at home watching TV.Then,computer was invented. Hi Gertie,I think that both Viet Nam and China have achieved good fruits in all fields and I feel very lucky to be lived in such a modern society now .For me ,most of changes are good because they help us to have chances to study ,to broaden my knowledge about the world ,and to procede modern technology.And you have told about negative aspects of computer .Computer makes us tobe lazy and dependent.I don't think so. As you know,the invention of computer has helped us very much in daily living now .There are many advanges of computer .For example,typing a letter is faster than writing so we can much times to do other important things.In Viet Nam ,in studying ,I see many considerablely changes .In the past the girls didn't allowed to go to schools but now boys and girls have equal rights .However,like you I think that the development also has bad aspects.There are many evils such as:addiction and gambling now.In short, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages .Do you agree with me ?

China is gradually becoming a society that need talent of higher quality in every field.The university entrance examnation is becoming more and more difficult.So is the post graduate exam.I want to pass the exam so that I can get higher education.Personally I think it is a negtive progress for the student who are willing to pass the entrance exam.But to me it is not so disappionted because I think maybe I can find a way that is suitable for me to achieve it.Although it is a challenge I am not afraid of it.I will try my best and pay much attention to both the result and the progress . I agree that development has a positive influence on our daily life. It makes our life to be improved very much.Thank to the development of information technology,to some extent, we can do any thing we like through internet, which was rather strange to my country as well as your country many years ago. At that time, through stories told by my my father and my grandparents, people had to go to a public cinema by bicycle to watch a film,and TV programs were rarely available. I think the progress affect me bit by bit.There are some positive and also negative.Generally speaking,I think the progress is good on the whole.But still there are some bad ones.Some good ones indeed bring benefits to people.However,a coin has both sides.Facing the circumstances,some can keep a clear mind while some easily get lost.I just want to talk one aspect. As one of Chinese university students, I feel very proud and lucky.As we all know,in the past,about in 1960s ,China is very underdeveloped,it's hard for people to have a full meal,needless to have a higher level of living.In my opinion,the reason why China can develop so rapidly is both because of the world influence and the efforts we are making.Nowadays,almost every country,every person is making progress every day.We are facing great pressure.We have to go forward or else we will fall behind forever and it's hard to catch up.From my personal perspective,I am studying in order to lead a comfortable life in the near future.Unconsciously,we are contributing to the good prospect to our country,although it seems irrelevant to our daily life.Just imagine:if most of the people can have a very steady life ,the whole country will prospect for sure.
Pressure is a kind of motivation.As China is progressing,we are facing more and more severe competition.That's why many university students are working so hard.In the past,just 60 scores are OK,but things are very different now.Why there are more and more students are enrolling in the post-graduate exam?Why more and more people choose to go abroad for study?Because they find it necessary to make themselves knowledgeable and experienced.Of course,here I mean there are some people going abroad just for the purpose of learning something fresh and then come bank to China.I am now feeling very busy every day.Although sometimes I am not so sure about my future,yet I always say to myself that as long as I can make efforts,life will be better.Because no one can really know exactly what the future will be like.The most important thing is that we have a clear mind what we are doing every day.Maybe in the past,university students can live a very leisurely life ,because they are deemed to find a satisfactory job after their graduation.Nowadays,because of China's progress and development day by day,no person can do that.It's an era for talents.
Just start doing things from ourselves,and I believe finally our drop of water can contribute to the broadness of the sea.

It is true that the two countries are developing very fast.In my opinion,it's both sides.Progress makes my family life become better and better,lets me open my eye,learns many things that I never know before,and makes me be eager to connect with the people from other nations.
Progress makes our laws perfect,educates people to use the law to safeguard their rights.The countries realize the importance of education and let more youth enter the university for further study,so I have the chance to go on studying.
However,there are some negative effects.Many people are not honest when doing business.Some youth are influenced by bad things from foreign countries,for example,they are addicted to drugs.We must work hard against unemployment,because there will be foreigners who work in our countries.

With the development of society, we people are the beneficials. For instance , we can communicate with each other through internet, and it is convenient, without so many complicated procedures. However, just like a coin has two sides, we also come across many problems since progressive inventions' coming. Take computers as an example, people now are addicted to play games , they can chat on line without eating and sleeping, and study has been threw into the air. hi Allen, you give two sides of progress. I think it is obsolutely true for our two countries in particular and other developing countries in general. For me, Development brings back not only advantages with modern facilities but also disadvantages unless we follow its laws. I also see that nowadays everyone lives comfortably and conveniently, however people are lazier,and more evils appear . We should have correct realization about progress.
